Mary was living in Clougdadilure, Nr. Burtonport in Oct 1997. She wasworking in Dungloe at the time of Bridget ( Manus Rua) Gallagher'sdeath. per Mary herself.

Mary had 5 children, 3 of them teachers.

Nov. 2002. Mary now resides in the Lakeside Nursing Home in Port naBlath.

Note:   In 1901 Census Mary was 2 years old and she and her mother were livingwith her mother's parents (Manus and Mary) and Joseph Gallagher.
Per notes by Neil Gallagher, Mary was born and brought up in theGallagher home in Magheralosk. Her husband James lived in Scotlandbut Mary never left home. She lived with her mother Bridget.

Note:   The following notes were provided by Neil Gallagher:
Daniel was born in 1799. He died 4 March 1890 at the age of 91. Hisdeath was registered by his daughter Nancy Gallagher. Cause of deathuncertified. Occupation farmer.

The name of Daniel's wife not known, she died before Daniel, he waslisted a widower on his death certificate.
The Tithe book lists Donal as living in Magheralosk in 1831. He was 32years old at that time.

There are only a few elderly folks left in Magheralosk today, butthose few are well aware that Daniel was the father of Manus Rua,Peter (Peadar) and Patrick (Padraig). He also had two daughters,Moira and Nancy, residing in Magheralosk.

Note:   Peter was known locally as Peadar Dhonail Froincis, his father's namewas Dhonail (Daniel) and his grandfather's name was Froincis (Francis)

Peter and Kate Coll were married in the Roman Catholic Church ofGweedore 24 February 1873 in the presence of James Gallagher (probablya friend) and Fanny McGee. The officiating priest was Fr. HughMcFadden. Peter's father, Daniel, was still alive. Kate's father,Thomas Coll was listed as deceased.
Peter and Catherine Coll lived in Tully, Magheragallon for a while.

Peter and Ellen Harley were maried in the Roman Catholic Church ofGweedore 15 March 1879 in the presence of Daniel Doherty and MargaretGallagher. The officiating priest was Fr. Bernard Walker. Peter waslisted as age 30, Ellen was listed as age 24. Before the marriagePeter was resident in Magheragallan and Ellen in Meenaniller. BothPeter and Ellen's fathers were still living on the date of theirmarriage.
